No host alternation. Aecia small, yellow. Uredinia hardly formed, blackish brown on pale yellow spots, long covered by the epidermis; spores with 2 germination pores above the equator. Telia mainly epiphyllous. Teliospores almost globular, 2-celled; wall smooth, of uniform thickness; petiole thin, hyaline, deciduous.
