Aecia and telia. Aecia regularly disrtibuted over the underside of the leaf. Telia dark brow, compact, also on the stems. Urediniospores formed in the telia, spinulose, 16-22 x 18-23 µm 3-5 obscure pores. Teliospores 13-28 x 23-25 µm.
