No host plant alternation; only uredinia. Uredinia amphigenous, tiny, light brown; spores 20-24 x 24-27 µm, with 5-7 dispersed germination pores, each one capped by a papilla. In the uredinia also teliospores are formed. They are one-celled, with a relatively thick wall covered with dispersed, low warts; the pedicel is short and deciduous.
