uredinia and telia mainly hypophyllous, long covered by the whitish epidermis, ultimately pulverulent, cinnamon brown and blackish brown, respectively. Urediniospores oval, 20-21 x 26-29 µm, with 1-4 pores, each one capped by a hyaline papilla. Teliospores one-celled, globular, with coarse, often elongated warts ± arranged in vertical lines; pedicel deciduous, short.
