Uredinia and telia amphigenous, middle brown and dark brown, respectively; causing no leaf spots. Urediniospores remotely finely spinulose, with 6-8 pores, each one covered by a small papilla. Teliospores one-celled, brown, pore apical, without a papilla; pedicel short (≤ 12 µm), thick, hyaline, deciduous.
