No host plant alternation. Spermogonia unknown. Aecia hypophyllous, in groups on yellowed spots, cupulate; peridium short, yellowish white. Uredinia unclear. Telia amphigenous, blackish brown, pulverulent, soon naked. Teliospores one-celled, yellowish brown, globular, thick-walled, warty; germination pore apical with a well-defined papilla; pedicel hyaline, tender, deciduous.
