Uromyces muscari: teliospores

Muscari racemosum, from González-Fragoso (1925a): teliospores

No host plant alternation; only amphigenous telia on pale leaf spots. In the telia also some urediniospores are formed: verrucose, with 8 germination pores. The teliospores are one-celled; the surface is either smooth or has a pattern of ridges.

host plants

Asparagaceae, narrowly oligophagous

Leopoldia comosa; Muscari armeniacum, botryoides, fuliginosum, neglectum, racemosum.

Uromyces limbatus (Rabenhorst) Schneider: name not in MycoBank (2022), maar mentioned as a synoniem by Klenke & Scholler.

Bahçecioğlu & Kabaktepe, Savchenko ao list a much larger number of host plants, in the genera Bellevalia, Dipcadi, Drimia, Leopoldia, Muscari, Ornithogalum, Scilla, and Vagaria, but this probably is due to another, much wider, concept of this species.
