uredinia dark chestnut brown; urediniospores spinulose, 19-21 x 22-24 µm. Between the urediniospores a small number of teliospores is formed; they are one-celled, 19 x 23-24 µm; the wall is verrucose, the warts often arranged in a linear pattern.
