gall

numerous, initially pale yellow, finally brown, up to 6 mm large leaf spots, with bark brown spore balls discernable as minute dark spots. A spore ball consists of a central mass of spores, surrounded by 1-3 layers of small, thick-walled, flattened sterile cells.
