0.5-3 mm large, first yellowish green later brown, sometime slightly pustular leaf spots. Spores in crowded groups, sometimes chains, embedded in the tissue, smooth, transparant yellowish brown. 9-11 x 13-16 µm. Spore wall is two-layered, thee outer layer hyaline-yellow, smooth.
