Urocystis lagerheimii

Urocystis lagerheimii Bubák, 1916

gall

swollen striae on the stem and the basal half of the leaves, several cm long and 1-2 mm wide; upon rupturing theay release a blackish brown, powdery mass of spore balls. A spore ball consists of 1-7 spores, surrounded by a complete layer of sterile cells. Spores 13-18 x 16-24 µm.
