on Camelina
gall
upperside of the leaves locally bleached and galled; at the corresponding underside a greyish-white fungal bloom consisting of erect, distally strongly branched conidiophores. In the plant tissue locally oospores are formed, and particularly there galling occurs.
host plants
Brassicaceae, monophagous
Camelina microcarpa, sativa.
synonyms
Peronospora camelinae Gäumann, 1918.
Denchev ao report from Camelina rumelica: H. parasitica. Possibly they consider two two fungi synonymous, but more probably this reflects the contrast between a broad and a narrow species concept.
