Peronospora farinosa

Peronospora farinosa (Fries) Fries, 1849

on Amaranthaceae

underside of the leaves with a fungal down consisting of vertical conidiophores that apically several times are dichotomously branching, each branch ending upon an elliptic conidium.

Peronospora kochiae Gäumann, 1919. But the study by Choi ao has shown that P. farinosa forms a complex of species. The name farinosa actually has become meaningless and should better not be used anymore.
