Peronospora farinosa (Fries) Fries, 1849on Amaranthaceae
gall
underside of the leaves with a fungal down consisting of vertical conidiophores that apically several times are dichotomously branching, each branch ending upon an elliptic conidium.
notes
Peromospora kochiae Gäumann, 1919. But the study by Choi ao has shown that P. farinosa forms a complex of species. The name farinosa actually has become meaningless and should better not be used anymore.
