leaves pale, may be disfigured. Underside with a greyish-violet down, consisting of 0.4 mm high erect conidiophores that apically several times are dichotomously branching, each terminal branch ending in a conidium.

The reference to Fagopyrum esculentum by Mułenko & Kozłowska seems a mistake.
