There are two or three types of galls. At the one hand epiphyllous or hypophylloous erinea, generally mostly following the veins; the hairs are slender, elongated, contorted, and have a blunt tip. At the other hand hairy warts are formed in the vein angles, that are open at the underside. Also the veins may become galled.
