Very broad, at the same time quite tortuous corridor, often forming an incomplete secondary blotch. Frass in widely scattered grains, sometimes a few lumps. Pupation outside the mine; exit slit in upper epidermis.

Larvae observed in mid-August.

BENELUX

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).

distribution within Europe

France, Germany, Lithuania, Czechia, Switzerland, Austria, Russia.

larva

Upper rear arm of the cephalic skeleton consists of two ribs, fused at he end; this situation reminds of the Agromyzinae. Rear spiraculum with 15 papillae.

notes

The type locality has an altitude of 1600 m.
